Weekend Subtotal:

Okay, so this weekend started out ROUGH! I was all excited for this weekend to come all week. I was going to the Jefferson Football game Friday night, I had Jake's Wedding on Saturday, Sunday I planned on baking some banana bread and hanging out around the apartment all day to enjoy my last official day off until November. A nice little weekend it was sounding like it would be.

My spirits were optimistic...life was perfectly fine and dandy. Well....that was until about Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. when I saw his little face peeping through the window that looks out of our lobby to the building vestibule. Ditch's little boy. My heart literally sunk. Two seconds later...Ditch comes through the door....all smiles..perfectly pleasant.

As my desk is in the front, it's part of my job to be official door greeter...to make our clients feel welcome and serviced.....attended to. So I put on my bravest happy face, smiles and the whole nine yards. After all, it's my job....it's not like I could do what I wanted and crawl under my desk and pray that he'd just go away.....he'd think we were closed and come back some other day...however....since THAT couldn't/wouldn't happen....I just toughed it out. My cheeks still hurt from all the superdooper sincere-ish smiling.

He wrote me a check....smiled....I wrote him his receipt....and I said goodbye...he said goodbye and out the door he went. A transaction that took approximately two-three minutes destroyed me for the rest of the day.

What is it about guys...just when you start to forget them, just when you begin to say..."Ditch who?"...they waltz through the door and turn your emotion world up-side-down.

My guy friends came to my rescue...Chris and Darren both swooped in, scooped me up and made me feel a little better. Alex did her best to say all those things that friends are supposed to say like "He's an asshole" "He could just be a gentleman and mail his fucking payment.." "He obviously is the most dreadful prick.." and things of this nature....she's a good friend.

Anyway....I'm happy to report....I don't care anymore....I went to the football game, had a grrrreat time....Jefferson kicked the shit out of Crestview......Today I went to Jake's wedding and again had a fantastic time...I am constantly surrounded by people who love me and who look out for me....so instead of being the most a lone I've ever been in my life....because being single is supposed to be just that.....I'm the most loved I've been in years.

I don't need any ONE man to make me feel this way.....a girl doesn't need to have the love of a "someone special" to feel loved....she just has to be made to feel special by those who DO love her. And I don't know what I did right in this world to have so many people who regardless of my shortcomings...do just that....I have a handful of "someone special"s....what could be better than that....to ask for more...well, it'd just be greedy on my part. *smiles*

Doesn't banana nut bread sound really good right now....can't wait til tomorrow.....

Night you guys.

Hugs & Love,

~hl~

It's NOT You....it's ME!!!

People say all kind of things when they break up with you:

"It's not you, it's me" >>>>>>>>>> NO, IT'S TOTALLY YOU!

"We just aren't in the same place right now...">>>>>> >>>>>>>> I WANT TO GET FAR AWAY FROM YOU FAST!!!

"I just really want to focus on my career...">>> >>> I'D RATHER BE AT WORK THAN WITH YOU.

"I just need my space....">>>> >>>>>I'VE GOTTEN A BETTER OFFER

"I think I prefer being by myself..." >>>>>>>>> YOU ANNOY ME

"I think of you more like a brother/sister" >>>>>>>>> I THINK YOU ARE UGLY

"I'm just really busy and don't have the time to give you what you need...." >>> I HAVE THINGS I'D RATHER DO....YOU ARE NOT THAT IMPORTANT TO ME

But they all boil down to one thing............"I don't want to see you anymore...!!"

Is it better to hurt someone's feelings and tell them they are annoying, they snore too loud, their laugh drives you crazy, you hate their family, they're a slob, we have nothing in common....I just don't enjoy the time I spend with you....you don't make me laugh anymore...I'm not physically attracted to you....etc. than to give them some bullshit line that will never make any sense to them....or worse yet, they always know was a lie.

A friend of mine just got handed the "It's not you...it's me" line. Everybody knows that one...we've all used it a time or two.....but do you think we'll ever get to a place, as a society, as humans where we will ACTUALLY start being honest.....start having the heart to tell someone..."Look I don't want to hurt you, but I just don't feel it for you...." or "You are a nice girl/guy, but you aren't what I'm looking for"

Those are both honest-ish answers, you don't have to be mean yet they accomplish the same result don't they?

Lunchtime Disappointment:

I had one of these Frescata Club sandwiches from Wendy's today.....I got to tell you....it was kind of gross!

Heather gives the Frescata Club TWO THUMBS DOWN!!
However, the bread was good!

Brain Dead I Am.

I think I have brain damage. Can food poisoning give you brain damage?

All week long, I've been screwing up......and saying things that make no sense whatsoever.

Earlier this week, I told my co-worker Jenn that I was going to eat a bandaid for lunch. I meant a banana....but I said bandaid.

I keep doing it too.....yesterday I said "this is my muggy hairdo weather" instead of "this is my muggy weather hairdo".....I invert words, use totally wrong words.....and my words was the one thing I had going for me...

On top of that....before the puking began....I said something kind of embarrassing....I sat down with my plate of pancakes and sausage looked at my mom and her boyfriend and said..."Man, I've really been craving sausage lately"...they smirked...and I realized that it was kind of funny...however it WASN'T funny that while I was puking my guts out, those words just kept running through my head....

..."Man, I've really been craving sausage lately"..."Man, I've really been
craving sausage lately"..."Man, I've really been craving sausage lately"
Make it stop, make it stop.......!

Well....I sure hope this doesn't continue...I need my brain to function. I have enough problems without losing the one thing I kind of had going for me....

The Gang:

The summer before Keith and I split up....I started hanging out with "his" friends.....in an attempt to "if you can't beat em, join them".....

I figured if I "had to" be friends with his friends to keep our relationship together....I was going to do it. So the summer of 2006 I spent it with Cole, Cara, Todd......mostly...and some other random people who'd pop up here and there.....but I really fell in love with them. We had so many good times....buying fireworks together, swimming in the lake, just hanging out.....and when I think of all the good times we shared....I remember how Keith was never there for any of the most memorable of times. Funny how my little plan backfired yet what started out as a labor of love that I did for him....really became a good thing for ME.

Over the course of the summer....those guys were like family...well Cole IS family seeing as he's my cousin and pretty much like a brother to me...but Todd and Cara....I just really liked them too. But when I left Keith.....I kind of had to leave them behind. After all, they were HIS friends. I didn't want to not see them anymore mind you, but at the same time, Keith was having a hard time, the last thing I wanted to do was cause any riff between he and his friends.

Tonight, the whole gang was over...Cole, Cara, Todd and I. It was like old times...talking about everything under the sun from dudes with tiny penises....to Mexican lasagna. What a great time. My stomach literally hurts from the non-stop laughing.

You think when you get divorced, you lose your spouse, but you potentially can lose so many others...things like loyalty, family ties, etc. can really tear friendships to shreds if you aren't careful.

Anyway....I missed both the television shows I had intended on watching tonight....but the company far outweighed anything fictional on my television tonight. Who needs television when you have characters alive and animated right in your own living room?! *smiles*

Good Night All...sweet dreams....

Too Good To Be True:

What's the old saying...."If it seems too good to be true, it probably is!" Why couldn't I have listened to that when "Ditch" first appeared?

Sure, he had things that others might have saw as liabilities...like having a child....and whatnot, but I thought that his being a father was commendable more so than a liability. I thought it was a good quality....

I was thinking about my old favorite show from when I was a kid...."UNSOLVED MYSTERIES"..I think they could dedicate an episode to "Ditch" and I's short lived romance. I can just hear the host of the show Robert Stack now, said in his familiar voice, with all the dramatic effect that the show had to offer...."Heather had no idea that the course of this relationship, this budding romance was about to leave her forever wondering...."

And I am....wondering that is.

What happened? Why didn't he tell me he didn't want to see me anymore? I mean, I straight out asked him...and even gave him the whole reassurance that I'd be fine, all he had to do was just say it! Yet, he didn't....continues to give me the whole..."I'm just really busy" line.

I've given up on the idea of he and I...even though it was HIM who planted that fruitless seed in the first place.....I mean...I didn't WANT any of this to happen. I didn't WANT to find myself laughing with him, enjoying his damn company. Sometimes I feel like he just came in, fucked with my head, and left....laughing the entire way in and the entire way out. Who does that? What'd I ever do to him anyways? Oh, what a stupid girl I was to fall for his cheeky smile and promises of future time spent together.

On Sex in the City...Miranda said:
"You know those guys you have that really great second date with and then you never hear from them again....I just pretend they died!"
So....I can be Miranda and pretend he's dead, I can cry for the hope he gave, then took away.....or I can just try and live with the fact that I may never know what the hell happend, where he went and why. All I know is....I liked him. I'm a complete and utter fool for letting him get to me....but he did.

Maybe if I have a funeral for him in my backyard.....maybe that would help give me closure....lol! *kidding....kidding*

I really miss UNSOLVED MYSTERIES....that show was awesome. If "Ditch" were here....he'd be making fun of me for liking something "so 80's"...and I'd make fun of him because he was too young to remember the 80's.....and then we'd make out for like an hour....ah....the good times! DAMN HIM!!!!!!!!!

A lot can happen in seven days...

Have you ever had one of those weeks when things inevitably happen that leave you scratching your head....

Earlier today....a strange guy..about two blocks from my house, wearing a Hawaiian shirt flashed me. He unbuttoned his shirt while I sat at a red light next to where he was parked and then he flung his shirt open and rubbed his manly chest while raising his eyebrows at me. Am I the only one who finds this behavior strange? I mean....how full of yourself do you have to be to think that every girl with big sunglasses who drive silver neons want to be flashed anyway? Granted...he was kind of hot....with his six pack abs and whatnot...but still. Why me? What did he think I was going to do, roll down my window, pull out a fist full of one dollar bills and then ask for his digits?

Today at the grocery store, I saw my ex-mother-in-law and ex-sister-in-law for the first time since I've been divorced. THAT was awkward! The funny thing was...they looked like deer caught in the headlights when they saw me. Apparently, they were just as uncomfortable as I was. Those first meetings after the fact are never easy.

Today, the grocery store sold me rotten meat...yesterday the breakfast place on cable road gave me food poisoning. I'm trying a new scented detergent and fabric softener...and a bought a new computer monitor that is "wide screen" and makes everything look stretched and distorted...to which I don't know how to fix quite yet. Kind of fitting really....my view being distorted and me not yet knowing how to fix it.....

Earlier this week, I a guy I know, a married guy mind you.....asked me if I was interested in getting to know him better....and when I say better....you know what I mean. I told him that "I stopped sleeping with married men when I stopped sleeping with MY own husband...." Makes me wonder about the sanctity of the institution of marriage. Do all men secretly long to have affairs with other women? As wives, if we don't fulfill every one of our husband's fantasies and wants, does that give them free rein to seek such elsewhere? And who's to blame, ourselves? Them? Society? the confines of marriage itself? Is marriage something we as humans are capable of living up to? "Til death do us part"......I broke that vow....so what's the difference if other people are out breaking theirs? Who's more in the wrong...those who leave? or those who stay and seek to have their needs met elsewhere? I don't know? All I know is, it's not up to me to judge....but I can't help but wonder ya know.

Whenever I feel sad about the state of relationships in today's day and age....I always think about the time I had my appendix out. I was so sick and in so much pain.....and Keith came to my side as quickly as he could. And he didn't leave me...he stayed and never left me once. He slept in a chair with his head laying on my bedside. As much as he didn't live up to my expectations as a husband....for that moment in time...he did.

The one thing I knew about Keith....that I knew from the very start....one of the biggest reasons I married him....was the fact that I KNEW beyond a shadow of doubt that he would NEVER leave me. We could fight....we could bicker....we could sleep in separate rooms...but he wouldn't leave me. Looking back on it now...Obviously I realize that THAT is NOT a reason to marry someone.....you have to have more than just that, but at the time, that's what I wanted more than anything. A guy, who through thick and thin....wouldn't go.

Funny thing was...the joke was on me, he may have never left...but he was never really there either. Well, except for those hospital stays and crisis situations with my family......but the day to day...the "good stuff".....he wasn't there for. I guess you can't leave, if you aren't really there right?!

And don't get me wrong....I don't blame him entirely....Regardless of the outcome, I don't regret marrying him. He had his strong points, his good qualities...and although I couldn't live up to the whole "Til death do us part".....I do feel that I did "love and cherish" him....and I still cherish the good times we shared. He may not have been able to give me what he didn't have to give, but he sometimes gave me all he had....and that's what I like to believe was the reason I stayed with him for the six years that I did.

I feel a shift in me....I feel that maybe I'm finally getting stronger...or maybe smarter....I'm not sure which. Ya know, I could have slept with that dude from last weekend....I had every opportunity...but I didn't and I didn't wake up the next day kicking myself and wishing I could take it back, instead, I kissed him goodbye and felt perfectly comfortable with the way things went....I turned down the proposal from the good-looking married guy.....I didn't roll down my window for the second and canal street flasher.....I just kept on going....for surely, SOMETHING better is just around the corner.
Summer is on the way out......fall is coming. Maybe it's time to shed the leaves of the past....and focus on the hope for the future. There is SO much yet to be done.

Why You shouldn't eat at a breakfast buffet:

Because THIS is the only breathtaking view you will be taking in the entire weekend......

Man..I WAS SIIIIIICK!

I think it's safe to say..... there won't be any intake of breakfast food in my near future.

Hope all of you had a better, less vomit-filled weekend than I did.

Update on the Car Situation: Looks like the neon's going to be sticking around a little while longer! Is it pathetic that I'm actually happy about it.....I can't help it, I love that car! Sure, I'm a dead girl should I get in an accident...but still....I'm a girl in love with a neon....stranger things have happened!

Be the Bigger Person..."WHATEVER"!!!!

As we get older, I like to believe we get more mature as well....well, it's a theory anyway.

So this weekend...I mentioned earlier that I ran into my ex-husband's current girlfriend. No big deal right?!..Well it wasn't to ME, however I heard rumor that she was pissed that I was there. She said to one of my friends...."Did you see who's here?" ""H" is here!" Apparently, I no longer have a name, I've just been reduced to a letter now....but anyway.....so obviously SHE wasn't thrilled about finding herself within spitting distance from ME.

I've said this a thousand times before, and I'll say it AGAIN....I don't have a problem with Keith having a girlfriend...as a matter of fact, I'm happy for him. If I had someone special in my life, I'd hope he wouldn't be pissed about it. So while on the dance floor and finding myself like one person away from her, I decided it'd be a good idea to let "S" (if she can do it, I can too!) know that she doesn't have to worry....that I think it's great her and Keith are together.

So I inch my way closer, tap her on the shoulder to which she doesn't even quit dancing, just turns her head in my direction. I say "Um, can I talk to you for a second?" She just yells...."WHAT???" So I say, "I just wanted you to know I don't have a problem with you, not at all. As a matter of fact, I think it's great that you and Keith are together. I hope it works out! Sincerely." Feeling pretty good about myelf for being the bigger person...I await her response....she just yells "WHATEVER"!

Whatever? WHATEVER? That's her response....WHATEVER???!!!!!!??? So for a moment I just sat there....in the next moment...I just laughed to myself as a result by the highly intelligent conversation where I tried to do the "right" thing...while she just yelled one word answers at me.

Well, I guess she can't ever say she didn't "say two words to me"...because she totally said TWO words. What & Whatever! Not the most in depth conversation I've ever had...but it will have to do. *smiles*

Don't you just hate it when someone just blindly hates you for no apparent reason? Or when you try to do something good, something mature and reasonable....and you are left wondering what would have been better, to say what you had, or to stab yourself in the forehead with a fork. It's a toss up sometimes.

Chocolate Chili and Corn Bread Anyone?

Okay... so you guys know just about how handy I am in the kitchen right....? Well, Today (Sunday) I decided to make chili. The Canal Days parade was going to be going by my house, it was a relatively cool fall day...Chili seemed in order.

Seeing as I thought I'd need some supervision in the kitchen, I invited my friend Jason over to monitor my every move. Or in other words....make sure I didn't fuck things up.

After several hours of preparation, grocery trips, slow cooking....and spice rack buying, we wound up with a fantastic feast of Chocolate Chili and burnt corn bread. *laughs*

I wish you guys could have tasted it...it was unlike anything I've ever had. *big toothy smile*

In the end....not the greatest day in the kitchen....however the company was good. There's something about new friends...that is surprisingly comforting on an average Sunday afternoon.

Well folks...it looks like the cooking saga continues.....

Next up....Crab Cakes

All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better. ~~Ralph Waldo Emerson

KFC....WTF!!!???

Today I went out for lunch...determined to get my oil changed. I'm about two weeks overdue. Which I don't know if you know this, but I'm really anal about getting my oil changed. So I've been kicking myself in the rear everyday when I get 1/2 way out of Ottawa, only to realized that I forgot to go again.

Today....I was NOT going to put it off a moment longer.

I drove down the street, wheeled er' into the local "Quick Change" and then walked over to KFC for lunch while I waited.

I walk up to the counter and decide that the boneless Teriyaki chicken wings meal sounds good. I wait for one of the employees to come take my order....waiting....waiting....waiting.....

Finally this auburn haired lady...maybe in her late 30's to mid 40's comes up...she had Rosy cheeks and this peculiar smile on her face...but anyway, she said: "Do you know what you want?" I said "Yeah, I'll have the $3.99 boneless Teriyaki chicken wings meal please"....she said.."Okay...I'll be with you in a second." She walked away.

I was like...."whhhha?" Why'd she ask if I knew what I wanted if she wasn't ready to take my order? Anyway about five minutes later, she comes back and says, "May I help you?"....and I was like.."Um..yeah, I'd like the Teriyaki boneless chicken wings meal please"....she says "alright...what two sides do you want?" and I say "Actually, I don't want the $5.99 meal, I want the $3.99 meal that comes with one side." She stares at me blankly....then stares some more.

After a very long silence, she says..."I don't think we have one of those!" I point to my left to the massively big cardboard six foot tall sign at the end of the counter and say..."it's right there on that sign" She pulls out a note book and starts writing down my order.

TERRY-AKI WINGS MEAL....POTATO WEDGES......she jots down...

Then some lady comes from the drive-thru line, helps her ring up my order and then finishes processing it. The whole time this is going on, the guy to the right of me, who's been there since I got there is STILL waiting for his 2 fish planks...which someone stole right out from under him and gave them to someone in the drive thru line. He was complaining...asking the chef if it was possible to drop more than TWO planks at one time....demanding to know how big their fryer was....and between questions was throwing his hands in the air, sighing and pacing back and forth at the "pick up" counter.

Finally I join him....he still pacing, me just standing there rummaging through my purse...after all, I was in no hurry with my oil being changed and whatnot. Finally.."Fish plank guy" gets his food and he disgustedly walks away with his dinner....I still stand.

The nice auburn haired lady comes over and says...."Can I help you?" And I say..."um, you already did...I'm just waiting on my chicken." "What chicken?" she asks. "The chicken I ordered...remember?...the boneless Teriyaki wings?!" "Oh right...yes..yes...I remember now..." she says as she shuffles away towards the register to help the nice older gentlemen behind me in line....

time passes, I wait....as I wait, auburn haired lady finishes up her last order....comes over to me and says "Has anyone helped you yet?" I just busted up laughing...I honestly couldn't contain myself...I said "Hi! Remember me? I ordered the chicken wings meal?!?!" She just blinked her eyes....again....a total blank. At this point I had to ask myself..."Are they fucking with me or WHAT???!!"

Eventually they did give me my meal...and I sat down and ate. About half way through I hear someone yell...."Hey did anyone ever give that girl her Teriyaki boneless wings?"

I waved at the kitchen staff, stabbed one of my wings....held it up...and smiled. They smiled back...and then went back to moving every which way in inconsistent non-methodical movement. It was like a disorganized chaotic comedy routine from the twilight zone or something...

It's been one of those days today....

Top Reasons NOT to go out Drinking with Cole:

My cousin Cole is like a brother to me, I love him to death...really....I do. Last night...I was invited out on the town with them. I had intended to go out anyway....but I was happy to include whatever would be with them in the picture.

Based upon the events of last night, I've compiled a list of the top 10 reasons NOT to go out drinking with cousin Cole:

1. Wedding Crashing

2. Sparks Drinking

3. Everclear

4. Extreme Dancing

5. Dancing near Ex-husband's new girlfriend

6. Excessive Socializing & urination

7. Meeting MORE guys who are too young for me.

8. Going to bed at 5:30 a.m.

9. Waking up at 8:30 to take aspirin

10. Waking up at 11:00 a.m. and saying goodbye to the adorable 23 yr. guy who came home with you in hopes of getting laid, who threw up in your toilet and sadly only got a warm place to sleep in place of some hot "older woman" action. (on a side note: He sure was cute though!"

It may be awhile before I have another night like last....but damnit..I had a kick-ass good time.

Displaced:

According to Wikipedia, An internally displaced person (IDP) is someone who has been forced to leave their home for reasons such as religious or political persecution, war or natural disaster, but has not crossed an international border.

Many residents here in Ottawa are IDP's...they lost their homes to flooding and are forced to seek shelter by whatever means they have available to them. I've spoke with people who were left with nowhere to go. Others are living with as many as twelve people in a single family dwelling just to make it through this whole ordeal. FEMA is helping, but sometimes, help just doesn't seem to come fast enough.

Right now, all over the world people are left without a home. In Sudan, there are approximately five million people who are displaced. FIVE MILLION!! And being displaced is not even the worst of the horrors they've sustained. We cannot even fathom the things they've saw and have had done to them. Gang rapes of both adult women and female children, beatings, beheadings...inhumane treatment from their own kind....humans. Safety and security are words they only dream of.

Yesterday my neighbor told me that I would have to leave my apartment for 24 hours so they could make some necessary repairs to the stairs leading up to my apartment. I stood there thinking...."Where in the hell am I going to go for 24 hours!?" Steph offered to take me in...so this morning I woke up early...got ready for work, and then packed everything I would need to get me through until Saturday when I am able to return home again.

Just upon leaving my house this morning...I carried a duffel bag, a backpack, my lunch, a cup of coffee and my purse. This is everything I needed just to get through one day away. I cannot imagine having to abandon my home forever, only taking with me a few things. I think about all the things I'd HAVE to leave behind, the memories, the collectibles....everything. I am so fortunate while so many people go without.....I am rich in possessions while others are plagued with famine and illness. I sleep on 300 thread count sheets while others sleep on the hard cold ground.

It's easy as Americans to just live our cushy lives and become ignorant to the fact that the world we live in isn't always peaceful, isn't always safe, and certainly isn't full of more than enough humanitarian efforts. Sometimes it's easy to think of people like Bono as being a celebrity with a cause....a cause they have no hope of ever alleviating....but there's a reason that someone who's as famous and wealthy as Angelina Jolie and Bono and Brad Pitt try and raise awareness for these causes....it's because they've seen it first hand....not on a television screen, not in a news paper..they've went and seen the conditions of refugees around the world, they've seen the effects of Civil War around the globe.

So here I am, being pissy that I have to leave my house for 24 hours....and there are people everyday that are forced to leave FOREVER.

Imagine that for a second. No home. No bed. No groceries, stove or refrigerator. No mementos, no couch, no television. No clothes, blankets or bath towels. No computers, no CD players. No microwave, toaster or coffee pot....and no plentiful checking account or insurance policy to replace any of it. All of it....gone. Where would YOU go? What would YOU do?

Kind of puts things in perspective doesn't it?! Well....it does for me anyways....

Hope you all are having a good week...and remember to count your blessings....as I'm sure we all have SOMETHING to be thankful for.

I Need to Vent: (WARNING...LONG)

I know I said I was going to stop writing...but before I do...I need to get a couple things off my chest.

Now before I go on....to the men in my life...(Dan, Darren, Cory, Jim, Warwick, Blogs Browser, James...and Chuck....and the others who read my blog but do not comment.....) Do NOT take offense to what I'm about to say....You guys are the good guys...and don't think for second that I don't see it, know it, and appreciate you to the core for it.

Now....on to the venting....

Currently we are in month 9 out of twelve.....and there have been four men who have made themselves known to me so far this year. "The Tall Dark and Handsome one", the "first 25 yr. old", "Tattoo Troy" and "Ditch".

I've written about them all a time or two.....and even though they are a wide array of characteristics...they all have something in common....ME. Let's take bachelor #1...the first on the scene...says he's my friend..says he and I have a "connection"...one minute he's all about me, sending me flowers for valentines day.....the next he's being aloof and distant and now dating a supermodel or something...friendship/whatever it was..poof...gone. Bachelor #2....finds me on myspace...I tell him over and over again, you are too young...repeatedly turn down his invites to do things..nicely of course...and then, finally when I break down enough to entertain the idea....he too gets distant...aloof....and granted he's still around, we still talk...yet he too repeated the hot and cold patterns of Bachelor #1. Okay....so we're half way through.....

Bachelor #3....Tattoo Travis...now he's a gem...comes and goes...first shows up in January....says he thinks of me all the time, couldn't stop thinking of me since he saw me at the bar a couple weeks prior.....shows up on my doorstep and professes his undying love....or shall I once again say..."connection" to me....then he cries to me about his girlfriend....tries to have sex with me...when I tell him it ain't going to happen....he gets back together with ex-girlfriend and poof...he disappears as well. He's resurfaced twice now, each time....coming to me, telling me he's sorry for the time before, begging me to forgive his past bad behavior...and for another chance to have a go with me....

Then there's my favorite "almost something"...Bachelor #4. A complete fluke....I was blindsided by this one. He's cute, he's funny, witty....and when he stepped into the picture I was holding my breath....I should have known he too would leave...they all do....but I believed in him. When he asked me not to move to Dayton until I got to know him....he stopped me dead in my tracks. No single person before him, or after him would have caused me to pause in this manner. Five great dates....too many hours spent on the phone and texting to even begin to count....and I found myself happy for the first time in a long time about the future of my broken heart.....and then Date six..the infamous..."what the fuck happened" date...and then he was gone. I've given him EVERY opportunity to tell me there's someone else, I think you're ugly....I don't like your fabric softener....you snore......your teeth could be whiter...we want different things....or WHATEVER it is that has him on the run....but he won't even so much as give me the comfort of knowing what happened....only that "he's busy".

Two guys ask me not to move away....and "would I consider staying if I had something to stay for", Four guys tell me "Heather you are so easy to talk to...easy to be myself around" Three say "I feel a connection with you".....yet I'm zero for four. Only one I can say is still around....and I haven't even quite figured out why yet. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS??? Is is all about getting laid? Are you fickle, non-commital? WHAT IS IT ALREADY? How can you go from asking me to NOT MOVE AWAY FROM YOU...to NOTHING? How do you go to "Wish I could have delivered these flowers in person" to..."Hey, I'd love to come see you, but I have to see what's going on with this other woman first!"....."I can't stop thinking about you...you are so beautiful and sexy and smart"....to "Hey, I got back together with Angie.....AGAIN!"...and my favorite...."I can blow off my softball game....I'd rather be with you..anytime I'm not working or with my son, I am free to be with you"....to....."Sometimes I just can't make time for you....I knew this was going to come up eventually!" Am I dating the fucking president of backpedaling? Am I dating the only four guys in Ohio who don't know what the fuck they want....and want to try every flavor before settling on an old classic? And don't get me wrong, I'm all for playing the field, get out there...try some stuff out.....but don't ask a woman to put her plans on hold unless you are damn sure you have more to offer than SIX dates....or in Tattoo Troy's case....about six days between his many break-ups. Come with honesty and a clear head, or don't fucking come at all....leave me alone....because I don't want to do this anymore!!

You know....I never ASKED a single one of these guys for a thing other than to be honest...I figured...I'd let the relationship run it's course, whatever it would be....and even though there are times when I get pissed....I really did like them...I'm okay with things not working out...but I'm not okay with not knowing why they didn't...whatever the reason.

#1 - fascinating, fearless in one aspect, yet frozen in another....funny, witty, wonderfully sarcastic.....passionate.....knowledgable and deeply inspirational. I don't think it's possible to meet a man of his caliber twice in a lifetime....he's one I who I will always hope for the best for....but who I fear the worst for. Some birds were just never meant to be caged. You can clip their wings, but they'll always long for flight....

#2 - Cute curly hair, short....sweet, cocky...persistant.....a good listener, troubled past/family like my own, compassionate and caring....and on a good day....maybe he's a friend...mostly..I think he suffers from the love of the chase. He loves a challenge....maybe that's the athlete in him....however his past hurts might be holding him back....I'd like to see him take his dedication to the joys of his life and apply them as fearlessly in matters of the heart....I have no doubt in his ability...because regardless of what happened with us....he's got a good heart....and I think his intentions have always been in the right place.

#3 - Handsome....but phony. Wouldn't know real love if it it bit him in the ass....lost confused.....believes that sex is the key to connection....and has no idea that the choices he's making....will plague him, break him and eventually leave him void of the hope that love like he envisions is possible...ever actually existed in the first place. Finds the pain of love as a means to maintain it. Thinks enduring the downside, will eventually turn things right.....He's the boy who cried wolf...fears being a lone....and he's not comfortable in his own skin even though, his appearance and persona is in direct contrast with his true self. He's emotionally immature.

#4 - Is a question mark. He's got a quality about him that just makes you smile...even when he's taking his beard you hate so much and rubbing it all over your face...scratching the bejesus out of you! He listens and will surprisingly bring things up that you said, that you yourself forgot you said! He's got he most adorable little boy that he created....and he's a good father, one who cares for the right reasons, for the respectable ones. He loves his family, he works a job that maybe isn't where he always wanted to be in life in order to provide the things he needs to provide for the people he loves. He's smart....and capable....he's Ditch..and he's gone.

With the exception of Bachelor #3....all of these men are really quite special in their own right. They all have qualities about them that are admirable....attractive.....however, they are all very different from one another....their common thread....knowing me....and leaving me.

I've yelled at ONE of them for it. The other three....deserve it, however I've always been under the impression that yelling never solved anything......If you have to guilt someone into saying sorry...or worse yet, loving you....it wasn't something you would want anyway. I've always believed that people can love me or leave me....guess leaving me is the easier route....

Maybe it's me, maybe it's them, maybe it's karma.....maybe anything.....the point to all of this is that I don't know....but what I DO know is....all this "you gotta get back out there" has only left me weary...and left vulnerable to people who for reasons unbeknownst to me seemingly CAN NOT AVOID hurting me.

Moving is not the answer.....a better job, more friends, more money in the bank will not make this become self evident....keep your eyes and ears open would you....if you see a pattern here..or if you see something in me...that makes me undesirable...I want to know what it is. I'm contemplating deleting this blog anyway...so I suppose be as brutally honest as you can be.....after the comments I've been getting from my anonymous readers...you all might as well bring what you got....really let me have it....it'll be a great send off into obscurity.

This is me....having a meltdown...

I think this is it.....

I got a comment today....and for the first time in a long time...it made me consider deleting my blog.

I'm going to consider it over the course of this week....

Thanks to all of you who've faithfully been with me daily here.....I love you guys. I do!

But maybe it's time to quit.....to end things....

Movie Reviews & New Friends

Tonight I had a few options as for things to possibly do.....Zach said that he might stop over if he was in town...and if that fell through, I had planned on going out to see Steph.....however, I got an unexpected e-mail from this guy named Jason asking if I wanted to go to the movies tonight. I just met Jason recently and have yet to actually hang out with him in person until this offer came in, so I said "Sure, love to"....

I met him at the Creamery where he wanted to get some ice cream and off we went to Regal Cinema 12 for the 7:35 p.m. show.

We went and saw the Bourne Ultimatum. This being the movie I was supposed to have gone and seen with "Ditch" weeks ago...and maybe there was a part of me that was still holding out hope that he and I would eventually do so....even if it meant waiting until it came out on DVD......but tonight....I gave up hope....and went and saw it with Jason.

Which I've got to tell you....it was surprisingly fun. He was a great movie jaunt companion....funny, sharp...chatty and honest. Don't go reading into this more than what you should though....I know how "SOME" of your minds work...he and I are just friends...nothing more....and that's just fine by me. I don't need to get attached to anyone else for awhile....you saw how that worked out last time.....it DIDN'T!

So...on to my review. If you liked the first two Bourne movies....you'll enjoy this third installment. Plum full of car chases, kick-ass fight scenes and high paced action from start to finish. Personally, the first one has been my favorite of the series, but I have a sneaking suspicion that a fourth will be in the works....and I'm interested to see where THAT story lines will go! I have some ideas....but I won't spoil the fun for those of you who have not yet seen it.

Anyway...I'm home, my gym bag is packed for yoga tomorrow....and I'm tired. My bed is sounding prrrrretty good right about now....new pillows, fluffy covers, clean sheets...ahhh...sorry guys, but between continuing this....or sliding into THAT....I choose bed!

G'night!

It's raining...outside....and on the inside too...

Life is an inevitable journey. A series of highs and lows.

My sister's mad at me, Steph is recovering from surgery and will be laid up for six weeks, I start yoga class on Monday, Ditch ditched me and someone stole my cat....

I'm contemplating a second job, wait, no actually a third.....I'm STILL sick.....and did I mention that my neighbors are having a party...my floor is literally vibrating from the music they are blasting.

It's Saturday night, and instead of going out with Michelle to the Jefferson Football game, I'm conveniently in my pj's thinking about all the shit that's bothering me. ALL of it. It's like once you open the flood gate to discontentment, it's an all out battle to stay afloat.

I just started watching this television series called "Brothers and Sisters" on ABC...I've now watched 16 episodes of last season's show in order to catch up before it premiere's later this month....and in the process I've opened Pandora's box to the memory of my prior family life. I watch the screen display brothers and sisters that are there in each other's lives....parents who stay together.....a place you know will always be your home. Instead I'm reminded of reality....siblings fight.....parents leave....people move away and life goes on with or without you. Life doesn't care how you "feel about it".....

It reminded me of last week at work....there's this client who is always calling trying to get me to get the court to reschedule his court date...says he doesn't have a ride. The court was courteous a couple times....but finally, I told our client....the court didn't care if he had a ride, the court didn't care if he had to walk for days to be present, the court only cares that you broke the law and it's time to face the music...no more waiting, no more stalling, no more excuses!

Life, like court, doesn't care if you are having a bad day...it's still going to throw stuff at you, it doesn't care if you have to go on without knowing your direction, it doesn't care if your heart is broken, it doesn't care if you are walking a lone....it only cares about forging forward....

I want to go with it...I want to move ahead...but I cannot shake the inevitable hand of the past, that has me by the ankle, pulling me, holding me from doing just that. I'm one foot in the future, one body in the present and one foot in the past.

The thing about music....

is that it releases the soul's pent up emotion. Music allows grown men to spew out verses of love and vulnerability...it allows girls to be grunge goddesses. It puts talent, craft and artistry on display.

I've written poetry since I was a wee little girl...one of the reasons I began taking guitar lessons several years ago was so that I could use the one thing I'm good at and put it to good use. I could put my verses to music, specifically that of an acoustic guitar and I could make my pain on paper become something pleasing and heartfelt to the ears.

Granted, I'm not a great guitarist by any means, I toy around with it at best.....I don't think you can count the couple gig's Rach & I did at Christmas Eve Mass at Church anything establishing either one of us as musicians by any means.....but tonight...tonight for the first time, I sat down and began to play....without music-sheets, without any books or songs playing on the radio. I sat down with the poem I just scribbled down onto a notebook paper and began to strum, to close my eyes and listen to what Chord "felt" like the right one to play...."felt" like the words on that paper.

Forty-five minutes after sitting down and picking up my guitar, I had it. Notes, lyrics, the whole nine yards...written down and right there in my lap. Let me just say...it's NOT a classic, you'll never hear it on your radio, or even on a bootleg CD that I could make you on my computer.....but it's the first song I have ever written. It's the first song I've attempted to write...it's the first poem set to music...and it came to life right here in my tiny living room.

I know that maybe this seems like non-sense to many of you...what with it just being some silly words and some silly strumming patterns and notes...but...Oh, if you could see my smile.....to see it, is to feel it.

Better Late than Never:

TO: JIM, ALEX, FRIGGA & BLOGS BROWSER:

Sorry guys it took so long, but here's the responses to the post of earlier this past week. I'm slow...I know.

At Aug 31, 2007 1:58:00 AM, Dumb Ass Daily
In regards to scenario #1, this whole thing is just another witch hunt by the democrats. Technically no law has been broken, so how can any criminal charges be filed? If the case were to go to court and the prosecution was to actually win, just think of the effect that would have on society as we know it. By setting a precedent, none of us would ever be able to hit up on someone in public ever again. No flirting with someone at the bar, no asking a waitress or waiter for their number, etc. as it would all be considered soliciting for sex.

As for scenario #2, well...that's a prime example of how drug use can cause bad things to happen. As for whether or not it's rape, I think that one would boil down to how the judge or jury decided to see it. She obviously wasn't objecting to the sex in the beginning, so obviously she was consensual to it at that point. The fact she didn't know who it was in her bed with her is strictly a lack of responsibility on her part.

On the other hand it could be viewed as an illegal entry, at which point anything that transpired after said perpetrator entered the premises could be construed as an illegal act. My guess is that the boyfriend got all pissed off at her about having sex with someone else (intentionally or not) so she's playing the rape card to cover her own ass and save her relationship with her BF.This is exactly why I think the whole "Date Rape" law is complete and total bullshit. While I'm certain that there are some legit date rapes that occur, it's also all too easy for it to be abused. Rape cases are one area where the defandent is almost always assumed guilty until proven innocent. What's worse is that the facts of such cases are strictly limited to the testimony of the two people involved, so it all boils down to who's story to believe, his or hers. And as we all know, when it comes to rape cases the guy's screwed unless there's a mountain of physical evidence or eye witness testimony to prove otherwise.

Scenario #3 Girl goes out on the town with her girlfriends, gets all liquored up, and ends up hooking up with some guy and goes home with him. They have consensual sex, she goes home, guy goes to sleep. The next day the girls boyfriend finds out (from her friends) that she left with another guy and didn't get in until that morning. Boyfriend confronts her about it and to save her own ass she claims she was drunk and passed out and he raped her. Girl files rape charges, the guys arrested and they go to court. Mind you neither has any evidence to prove whether it was consentual sex or rape. Who do you think the judge or jury is going to side with? Needless to say the guy's screwed. Not only will he be put in prison for 5-10 years, but he'll also be labelled a sexual predator for the rest of his life...all because some girl wanted to cover her own ass with her boyfriend.Welcome to our wonderfully sympathetic judicial system!

Ooooh, what great scenarios you bring forward.. feels like a game!

Well, if I'm allowed to give my two Euro cents' worth.. lemme just say this. For scenario 1, i.e. the closet gay senator... well. What's the big deal anyways? I think people need to get over the huge scandal of GAY. It's just two people of the same sex doing it.. so what? Big deal. I mean sure.. it's not my cup of tea, fine. But to each their own I guess right? Given that it's not proper to be having sex in public places, let alone where other people can hear and/or see you, and given the fact that this guy is married and cheating on his wife, with a MAN (lol, poor Mrs. Idaho senator, having to find out that way that her hubby is gay...) I think the issue here is, as usual, the fact that people feel cheated. They feel cheated that a person who is supposed to represent his constituents, a person who supposedly stands up for family values, is in all reality living a lifestyle that goes against the morals he himself preaches.Add to that the bigotry of the pure white America that is against same-sex sex... that sure makes for an explosive headline!

I'm not sure if you call any part of that as illegal. I mean, as you say, if it's supposedly consensual, where's the harm in that? Of course, you'd probably still be running into all those public decency laws etc... I'm not too informed in the laws there...I say, get over it though LOL

As for the 2nd scenario... well, now that's a tricky one. I definitely don't consider it rape though... if "you" are too drunk/high/asleep to realize that they guy in bed with you isn't your boyfriend, then that's really your problem. Sure, if and when she said STOP to the guy, and he didn't stop, now that's another thing. I think it's up to the girl to realize who's in bed next to her... it's not like he tied her up and gagged her.

I saw get off the pot/coke/booze and keep your man closer to you LOL*gets off her soap box*

At Aug 31, 2007 12:06:00 PM, FRIGGA
First, I agree about the Senator. Yes, it's very wrong for him to cheat on his wife - but why are the Liberals bashing him for being gay?

Second - YIKES! Given the facts as you laid them out I would say it was rape. The roommate went in knowing what he was doing. When I'm asleep, it may seem like I've woken up and I may even talk to you, but I am in fact still asleep and won't remmember the conversation in the morning. That would be rape.

Very interesting Q's! :P

scenario #2 hmmmm thats a hard one. the sneaking man is guilty of something, thats fo-sho, ha ha ha to use your lingo. but some men are daring, God! supposing the boyfriend heard what was going on and went for a kitchen knife and stabbed "his friend" in the back, would he be guilty?

At Sep 3, 2007 10:41:00 PM, HeatherLynn
I should have answered you guys sooner..but there's so much to say:

Jim ~ Frankly...the way I see it...I need to solicit more, not less. The thing that gets me is, why in the hell would he not consult an attorney prior to giving a plea on this? With some crafty lawyering this whole thing could have most likely been dropped anyway...(I totally just sounded like someone who works in a law firm didn't I?)

#2 - I agree on the lack of responsibility. We all should know who we are sleeping with to SOME extent. There are a bunch of ways this could go...but I'm thinking rape would be an over-statement. This doesn't fit the bill in my eyes as to what rape is. He definately was wrong at least in a hundred different ways here...(sleeping with a buddy's g/f, letting himself in, doing drugs, etc.)As for your views on Date Rape....I'm not sure they are complete bullshit...granted, any law has it's flaws and anytime you are dealing with a he-said-she-said incident, your margin of error is greater. However, going on trial for the woman can be just as evasive for the woman doing the accusing as for the man accused. It's not like it used to be....where the woman was the saint and the man the automatic sinner.

I've seen cases in my time where some "crazy bitch" was being spiteful and accusing someone of something they didn't do. I've seen it, I have....and it's not fair that some people carry the shame of being a sexual preditor for the rest of their days. Consequences are real, and they are everlasting in sex crimes. But honestly, the laws in place are meant to protect....and they are laws with good intentions. Our society is flawed in it's crimals and in it's perfection at law making. We just have to work out the bugs.

At Sep 3, 2007 10:50:00 PM, HeatherLynn
Alex ~ Sometimes it's all about the headline I think. Does anyone really care (besides his wife/family/friends) that he's gay...if in fact he truly is? I don't. What does it say to his constituents that he voted against gay marriage...was his sexual preference interfering with his job? Was he still representing publicly what he publicly presented himself as being? Just some food for thought...

as for #2..you and me both. If/when she said STOP...he stopped...not rape....rape is about consent....regardless of who you think you are screwing....if you went into it blind and said "do me baby"...I think you have to carry at least a little responsibility.

Life ain't easy...taking responsibility for your actions is the only good sometimes.

At Sep 3, 2007 11:03:00 PM, HeatherLynn
Frigga ~ Liberals..and this is no way bashing THEM..well, they like to all jump on any headline that has a Republican fucking up. It's the monster known as politics. I think it's nauseating when they all gang up on each other and be like "you suck"...."NO, you do!" If politicians spent as much time bashing each other as they did practicing diplomacy and compromise, we'd live in such a more progressive country. Democrats and Republicans have been engaged in this idiocy for what seems like FOREVER? The future of our country doesn't lie with either party...it relies on them both. I don't know why THEY can't see that. You know that old saying, it takes a village to raise a child, it takes more than one man, one party, or one administration to revive this nation, it's going to take everyone.

Interesting take on the second scenario....I however don't agree with you...which please don't take offense to....but I do understand. I know I am ONE chatty person....and my motor mouth doesn't start going until I've had my morning coffee and it's after 10:30 am.....I agree we aren't ourselves when awoke from sleeping...but here's a question for you....the guy who crawled into bed, couldn't he say that he didn't know who's bed he was crawling into? He was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol....maybe he thougth that girl was his g/f and he was just crawling into his own bed?

Of course there is no right or wrong answer here...I just love the input you guys offer...it's good stuff. Keep it coming.

At Sep 3, 2007 11:09:00 PM, HeatherLynn
Blogs Browser ~ I love it when you make fun of my fancy lingo! ;)

Yeah, he's guilty of stupidity if you ask me....is being stupid against the law now? lol In some cases it should be...however...I really don't know exactly who's to blame for what on this one...It would be interesting to see what happened in the end I suppose...or to be a fly on the wall when it all went down.

Stabbing a friend in the back...well, good question....if you found some guy screwing your g/f in the middle of the night in YOUR house....and she was screaming for help...who's to say he wouldn't get off the hook....the law is tricky...who knew what and when is always the determining factor....and sometimes, there's only ONE person who knows the answer to that...yet we rely on 12 strangers to decide the answer. It's pretty intense this whole legal business.

Cooking....Part #1

So last night I go to the fair with my Mom and her boyfriend Bill. We have some deep fried food, tour the horse & rabbit barn...things are going well. Then somehow, and don't ask me how, we got on the topic of cooking. Bill tells me that the reason I don't have a boyfriend is because I don't cook. Granted, I think cooking is great, and I love when people cook for me, but I'm just not that great at it.

Sure I can whip up some spaghetti and a few other pasta recipes. I can make a mean Mexican lasagna. I can make meatloaf, baked chicken and some other stuff....but it's nothing to write home to mom about ya know!? Anyway...now that I'm single, and live a lone, I rarely cook. Mostly just because there' s just one of me, and cooking for one sucks. You single people feel me...you have left overs....you dirty all those dishes..and for what? One person? It just doesn't seem worth it.....nothing I cook is sooooo good that it ever seems worth the hassle.

Anyway...so today, seeing as I have the entire day off to do nothing, I'm killing two birds with one stone. Alex says I need to start eating healthier....so yesterday I went to the store and purchased fresh fish, veggies and fruit. Then after last night's insight as to why I don't have a boyfriend....I decided that today I'd attempt cooking something.

So, I attempted to make baked fish and brown rice.

I started off with a blank slate...or plate as I call it....

Then, added the wild rice....

Next came the fish and a breadstick.....

So what do you think....look edible?

Anyway...I ate, it tasted pretty good considering....considering "I" made it.

You know...I always thought that what I lacked in the kitchen, I could make up in the bedroom....hmmmm...need I be worried? Is this not how it works? Is the way to a man's heart REALLY through his stomach? Damn I've got some work to do and priorities to rearrange! *smiles*

Weekend Update with HeatherLynn

Good evening, I'm HeatherLynn. Hear now the news.

Our top story tonight...has caused quite a stir here in the quiet neighborhood of South Jefferson & Second Street....after a year of residency, HeatherLynn has finally made contact with the old man who lives next door. It's quite a turn around from this year's earlier failed attempts.

HeatherLynn who has no problem befriending her neighbors has been determined to have a break through with "Mr. Grumpy pants", as he's lovingly referred to, from next door, and to be honest she was getting quite discouraged until yesterday when she found herself sitting on her stoop enjoying the pleasant weather, and he was doing some yard work just below. She gave her usual smile and extended a pleasant hello to the ole' bugger. He looked at her for the longest time before saying anything....but when he did, the door of dialect swung open full swing....and the cold war between the two was over. The two are due to sign a peace treaty over parking arrangements later this week.

In Medical News.....

Researchers have found that there has been a recent breakout of the "summer-flu" in Northwest Ohio....it's affecting many, particularly a certain 5'7" tall redhead who resides in Delphos, Ohio. Symptoms include, sore throat, watery eyes, dry eyes, coughing, wheezing, sneezing, headache, chest congestion, sinus pressure and fever.

Said Redhead has been suffering these symptoms for 8 days without any major advances in recovery. Medication administered has been Tylenol Cold & Flu, Halls Breezers cough suppressants & Vicks Vapo Rub applied to chest, nose and throat at bedtime....Oh and coffee...."it feels good on the throat" according to a recent sufferer.

At this time there's no telling if there's an end in sight for those afflicted with the summertime flu, however we will keep you posted on this as the saga continues.

Now....a word from our sponsors.....

In Entertainment News: Our final story comes tonight from a field reporter from our Lima Affiliate.

HeatherLynn...what can you tell us about last night's events.....

HeatherLynn: Well, I can tell you that they will never write a television series based upon the life of a Delphos Singleton....that's fo-sho!

As a area single, I was once again drug from my home to go out on the town. Being as I was still quite ill, I didn't want to go. But I was extremely hungry and had been in bed the entire day, I figured maybe I should just get some fresh air and some visitation time with the outside world.

The night started off at Bandito's where the very best Margarita's were consumed. The new drink special there is a masterfully crafted concoction known as the "Bombpop", it's a mixture of layers of different Margarita's, a blue raspberry bottom, mango middle and strawberry top. Two of those and you'll be smiling and swerving the entire way home. I had two. Get out to your Lima Area Bandito's today, I've been told they are engaging in a competition between the Lima and Ft. Wayne Restaurants in who can sell the most alcohol....plus you get a free lay whenever you purchase one of their shot specials.....and us single girls...we like getting laid whenever we can...so do yourself a favor and get yourself some Mexican tonight!

Up next, my Movie Review:

Last night's movie was "SUPERBAD" staring Jonah Hill, Michael Cera & Christopher Mintz-Plasse. (w/ Seth Rogan & Bill Hader co-starring as well)

I'm sure ya'll know the premise behind the movie, two semi-dorky kids, trying to get drunk and laid. It's simple, it's honest....it's life for many young boys out there. I'm a fan of all the work done by Judd Apatow, and this was no exception. Granted, you have to be able to stomach vulgar humor and appreciate characters who ARE NOT complex, but simple and disgustingly lovable.

The side story created by the crazy cops (Rogan & Heder) takes you on one wild ride with "McLovin" in tow. The shenanigans and tomfoolery that goes on in this side story is a treat within itself.

If say I gave the 40 Year Old Virgin & Super Troopers a "A" grading.....Superbad is a "B+"....it's not "quite" as good, but it's still funny and worth watching...so go see it today before it leaves the theatre.

Now...back to the studio.....

Well folks.....That's the news. Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow.

This Just In....The WEATHER (There Jim,....you happy??)
